CHALLENGE

Birmingham City Football Club tasked us with creating a launch video for their new away kit, one that captured its clean, classic look while highlighting the unique sequoia colour-way, a first-ever for the club. The challenge was to showcase not just the style and sophistication of the kit but also the deeper meaning behind the sequoia’s strength, resilience, and courage.

OUTCOME

To bring this vision to life, we crafted a bold yet elegant visual narrative that embodied class, confidence, and timeless resilience. Through stoic, upright poses and chin-up stances, we conveyed a sense of quiet strength, mirroring the unwavering presence of the giant sequoia tree. High-aperture lighting enhanced the clean white fabric, ensuring every detail of the kit stood out with crisp clarity. Carefully executed Dutch angles and slow rotations added a dynamic, cinematic quality, while the use of a real sequoia tree in Birmingham reinforced the kit’s deeper symbolism, strength, endurance, and continuous growth. Every visual choice was intentional, creating a launch campaign that was as powerful as the story behind the kit itself.
